Canoeing in the Ozarks has become one of the most popular forms of recreation for the entire family. Whether you choose to float in the summer with the lazy, tranquil floats, or in the spring months, when the rivers flow faster and offer more challenges, you will find the Huzzah and Courtois Rivers taking on a unique beauty each season. Among the many options for floats, one of our favorites is a one-day trip where you begin your journey upriver, stop at the campground for lunch, and then continue downstream the rest of the afternoon.

Rafting has become the craft of choice for large groups or families with small children. If you are wanting a sturdy option while traveling down the river, then a raft is the right choice for you! Rafts are loads of fun with groups and are nearly impossible to tip over. Our durable rafts are nylon-lined rubber, so no worries of a tear. Don’t wait till last minute to book because rafts sell out quickly!

Our kayaks were the first to be offered in the Ozarks. They are fast, safe, stable, and add a new dimension to touring the Huzzah and Courtois rivers. Even with no training, anyone can enjoy a day on the river in kayaks. We also offer tandem kayaks (two person kayaks). Enjoy the adventure of kayaks with your other or go solo in your own kayak!

Pitch a tent or park your RV on one of our spacious sites location along our two and a half miles of river front camping. Our campsites will accommodate, on average, ten people. Along with our primitive tent camping we also have RV sites which include thirty and fifty-amp service.

Each campsite features a picnic table and fire ring with a BBQ grate. None are too far from our river access swimming areas. On the family side we have playgrounds for the kids. The tent sites offer shady seclusion – away from your cares, but close to all the great camping activities the resort has to offer. And you’ll appreciate the well maintained restrooms, coin-operated showers, and distinct areas for our Family side or Zoo side (all adult campground) campers.

While visiting, make time to see the the beautiful Ozarks on a guided trail ride. It's a Huzzah favorite that you do not want to miss out on! Choose from a 1-hour Head ‘em Up and move ‘em Out Ride and our 2-hour ride Keep it in the Saddle Ride. Horseback rides are available April through October. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. A two person minimum is required for all rides except Kiddies Rides. All children must be 8 or older to ride, unless they are doing the Kiddie Ride.
